Homework
Book Bags: (coming)
Each night, M-Th your child will bring home a book from their book box. They should read this book a couple of times.
Please help your child to become more independent by having THEM be the one to make sure the book makes it back into the bag and into their backpack. They cannot take another book home until they bring back the one from the night before.
They will never be "in trouble" for forgetting...
WORD CARDS: (coming)
It is extremely important that your child do some kind of work with their word cards EVERY DAY. Read them often. Complete one of the many word activities with their cards in their HOMEWORK NOTEBOOK each night. After a while, feel free to "scramble" all but the newest words... (they would be the last 6 words on the ring), to make sure your child hasn't simply memorized the words in the order they have been in… because they will. ;)
Math & Handwriting:
Math and/or Handwriting homework is due the following day unless specified otherwise.
