Today we were no longer first graders. We were surgeons:
Word Surgeons. What? Didn't you learn about contractions while donning surgical masks and rubber gloves? No? What a shame...

This is so great! J was sad to leave early. But, very proud of the work that he did. Thank you for this creative opportunity.

Maeve got off the bus wearing her contraction surgical gear. She was so excited.

No worries. We will be picking up where we left off when we get back from vacation. He was all business.

This moon dance that you performed here was amazing. I was there when you did it, and I was just amazed by it. It must have taken you a lot of time to practice and perfect it. I know that you are still a relatively unknown group, so I want to help you. I see a lot of potential from your group, and I can hook you up with some of my connections. I am willing to be your manager.

Georgia loved this activity! The first thing she did when we arrived home was to get out her doctor kit and give physicals to her dolls :-)
THANK YOU!

I love teaching first grade. This is where you can look and see some of the things we do in the classroom.
